4. Server and log data
When you visit our website, technical information necessary for the delivery, stability, security and error analysis of the website may be processed automatically.
This may include in particular:
IP address, date and time of access, page or file accessed, browser type and version, operating system, device information, and technical usage and connection data.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is in the secure and uninterrupted operation of our website.
Data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective technical, security-related or legal purposes.
5. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide, such as your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry, in order to handle your enquiry.
If your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Data is deleted once it is no longer necessary for handling the enquiry and no statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons for continued storage apply.
5a. Contact form via Formspree
We use Formspree, a service of Formspree, Inc., USA, for our contact form. When you submit it, your name, email address, telephone number if provided, selected subject and message are transmitted to Formspree, processed and stored there, and forwarded to our email inbox for handling. Technical data such as IP address, browser information and submission time may be processed to provide and secure the service.
Processing serves to respond to your enquiry. For contract-related enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries reliably.
Formspree also processes data in the USA. Information about processing and international data transfers can be found in the Formspree privacy policy. The information in Section 10 applies to the retention period for your enquiry. Alternatively, you can contact us directly by email or telephone.
5b. Route calculator and map services
The route calculator uses Photon (komoot GmbH) to search for locations, the routing.openstreetmap.de service operated by FOSSGIS e. V. to calculate road routes, and map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation. These services are only queried after you activate the calculator and start a search or calculation.
The location search service receives your search terms, the routing service receives the coordinates of the selected locations, and the map service receives the requested map areas. Your IP address and technical connection data are also transmitted during these connections. Providers may store requests in server logs. Enter only the location or address information needed for your calculation.
Use is voluntary and based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw activation at any time with future effect by unticking the box in the calculator. You can also enquire about your route directly without using the map. Search results are held on this website only temporarily in the open page's working memory. The route is transferred to the contact form only via the corresponding button; Section 5a applies to its subsequent submission.
Further information: komoot, FOSSGIS Routing and OpenStreetMap Foundation.
